What To Expect
A day at the beach with MeWater is a day of pure fun and fulfillment. Expect lots of splashing, surfing, boogie boarding, and endless smiles from both the kids and our volunteers.
What To Bring
We have wetsuits for all of our volunteers. Just let us know in advance if you need one!
If you have your own wetsuit, great, please bring it.
Surfboard? Leave your board at home. We have boogie boards and surfboards.
Make sure you have signed the waiver if this is your first time in 2025!
About Refugee Foster Care
Across the world, millions of refugee youth are forced to flee their homes due to war, persecution, and trauma, many without their families. Refugee Foster Care (RFC) offers these youth a new start in safe, supportive homes across the Bay Area. As the only program of its kind in the region, we place Unaccompanied Refugee Minors with caring foster families and provide them with the long-term support they need to heal, grow, and thrive.
